The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched by Maharashtra’s government in the budget 2024-25 by Finance Minister Ajit Pawar on June 28, 2024. The primary aim of the Ladki Bahin Yojana Scheme is to help women by giving them a monthly stipend. This financial support is meant to assist women in meeting their basic needs, improving their quality of life, and promoting gender equality. The program also encourages women to participate in various socio-economic activities to support their development. The application of Ladki Bahin Yojana last date is September 30, 2024.

 Ladki Bahin Yojana Scheme Eligibility Criteria 

  • This scheme is exclusively for the women in Maharashtra.
  • The applicant should be a resident of the state of Maharashtra. 
  • Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana’s age limit ranges between 21 to 65 years old. 
  • The applicant should have their bank account linked with an Aadhar Card. 
  • The family’s annual income should not exceed  ₹2,50,000/-.
  • Outsourced employees, voluntary workers, and contract workers with income up to ₹2,50,000/- are eligible.
  • The female applicant can be a married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, and destitute or one unmarried woman in the family. 

 Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana 2024 Benefits

  • Eligible women will receive financial assistance of ₹1,500 every month.
  • 3 LPG cylinders will be provided free of charge annually. 
  • Fee waivers for poor girls belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) for college higher education admissions.
  • Additional benefits such as skill development training, healthcare schemes, and access to financial services.

There are two steps to applying for the Ladki Bahin Yojana online. Let’s look at the process:

  • Registration Process Ladki Bahin Yojana:

Step 1: Applicants should visit the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin website.

Step 2: Step 02: Select “Applicant Login” and click on “Create Account.”

Step 3: Fill out the mazi ladki bahin yojana online form, and add the following details: Full Name as per Aadhaar, Mobile No, Password, Confirm Password, District, Taluka, Village, Municipal Corporation / Council, Authorized Person & Accept Terms and Conditions.

Step 4: Enter the Captcha code and click “Sign-up.” You will receive an OTP.

Step 5: Enter the OTP and the Captcha code again.

Step 6: Click “Verify the OTP” to receive a message confirming that your login was successful.

Application Process of Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana:

Step 1: Log into the portal using the mobile number and password you registered along with the captcha. 

Step 2: Click on “Application of Mukhyamantri – Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana” and enter your Aadhaar Number and Captcha.

Step 3: Validate your Aadhar card to open the registration form.

Step 4: Fill out all the information in the registration form.

Step 5: Add the applicant’s address, other information, and bank details. 

Step 6: Upload the following documents: Aadhar card, ration card, bank passbook, applicant’s photo, and signature. Click “Submit” to receive your application ID via SMS.

  1. Photograph of the Beneficiary Woman
  2. Aadhaar Card
  3. Domicile Certificate (If not available, you may submit any one of the following: a Ration Card issued over 15 years ago, a Voter ID card issued over 15 years ago, a Birth Certificate, or a School Leaving Certificate).
  4. For Women Born Abroad: Submit your husband’s Ration Card issued over 15 years ago, Voter ID card issued over 15 years ago, Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, or Domicile Certificate.
  5. Income Certificate (This is not required if the woman has a Yellow or Orange Ration Card or a White Ration Card or no Ration Card).
  6. Marriage Certificate (If your name is not listed on the Ration Card and you are newly married, your husband’s Ration Card can be used as proof of income).
  7. Bank Account Details (The account should be Aadhaar-linked).
  8. Affirmation Letter.

 Reason For Rejection of Ladki Bahin Yojna

  • If your family income is more than ₹2,50,000/-.
  • If one of the family members is a taxpayer.
  • The family members work as regular/permanent employees in a government department/undertaking/board/government of India or local body of the state government or are drawing pensions after retirement. 
  • Women who were eligible received ₹1,500 per month through a financial program implemented by other government departments.
  • The family member is a present or former MP/MLA.
  • The family member is the Chairman/Vice-Chairman/Director/Member of the Board/Corporation/Undertaking of the Government of India or State Government.
  • If you or your family has a four-wheeler (except tractor) registered in a family member’s name. 

 Nari Shakti Doot Ladki Bahin App for Online Registration

The government has launched the Nari Shakti Doot App, a mobile application designed for citizens to enroll in this program. This app enables users to register beneficiaries for the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Available for both Android and iOS devices, it can be downloaded from the Play Store and App Store.
